William C. Bodnar, 69, of Cochranton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at his son’s residence surrounded by those he loved following a two-year illness.
Born December 15, 1952, in Canonsburg, he was the son of the late William and Joyce Hopkins Bodnar. He was married to Karen Wagstaff Bodnar.
William was a consultant for Bill’s Craning and Rigging Company. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed cooking.
Survivors include his wife: Karen; son; William V. (Tiffany) Bodnar of Wampum; two stepsons, Jason and Chris Corbin both of Canonsburg; sister, Louann (David) DeJohn of Canonsburg; brother, Gary Bodnar of Cochranton; two granddaughters, Darian (Josh) Ordos of Pittsburgh and Jenna (Brock Hopkins) Bodnar of Wampum; two step grandsons, James and Dylan Clark of New Castle; niece, Chalese DeJohn; two nephews, Tim Galford and Alan (Lauren) DeJohn; two great nephews, T.J. Galford and Jax DeJohn; great niece, Willow DeJohn, and lifelong friends, Ricky and Kenny Czemerda, of Grafton, WV.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bruce, and his stepson Jared Corbin.
Per his wishes there will be no public services.
