Robert Lee Brown, 89, of North Sewickley Township passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 23, 2022 at his residence.
Born December 22, 1932, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Ira and Lottie Welsh Brown. He was married to the love of his life, Marilou Boots Brown for 65 years until her passing.
Robert worked as a Steel Fabricator for Ellwood Iron & Wire and then as a Custodian at Riverside High School. He was a member of the Union Goodwill Church. His farm was his pride and joy and he was well known for his beef cattle business in North Sewickley Twp.
Survivors include son; Steven “Craig” Brown of Cranberry Township; daughter, Sherree May of Beaver; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and his dog Pandi.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Marilou; son, Scott Brown; grandson, Brandon Zimmerman; five brothers, Chester, Wayne, Jim, Don, and Kenny Brown, and a sister Ruth Sarver.
The family will receive friends on Saturday October 29, 2022 from 10:00 am until the Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Pastor Paul Moore will officiate.
Interment will be in the Lillyville Church Cemetery.
