A rainy forecast did not deter hundreds of hoppy-go-lucky kids from taking part in the annual Ellwood City Easter Egg Hunt in Ewing Park on Saturday.
The event started at 11:00 a.m. amid overcast skies and ran throughout the early afternoon with hunts for all ages.
Additional events included a petting zoo, pony rides, trackless train, and a Kid’s Zone in the Rotary Shelter, which featured crafts, face painting, games and various other activities in the Bocce Court will be games. The days event are provided through The Ellwood Area Egg Hunt Committee.
