Riverside Archery’s first at home tournament is this weekend in the high school gym.
The state qualifying archery tournament begins Saturday, with eight flights on the hour from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Individual awards for Top 5 girls and Top 5 boys in each division: Middle School and High School. The top two team awards for each division: Middle School and High School. The tournament will have normal flight arrangements with two archers per shooting lane shooting at the same time. [VIEW FULL FLIGHT SCHEDULE]
$3.00 Admission fee for adults – Students, Coaches, and Riverside parents are free.
According to head coach Angela Conner on social media, the team is expecting to see 60 archers participating in the program. The team typically has sign-ups in September for Grades 6 thru 12. Shooting for fun, to excel or for life, archery is a sport for all ages.
There will be a snack bar, Chinese Auction & a 50/50 raffle at the tournament. All proceeds benefit the team.
