Karen Rae Fleeson, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away at her home on February 2, 2022. She was 80 years old. Karen was born on July 5, 1941 to the late Raymond and Bette (White) McClintick. Karen was married to Richard Fleeson in 1957 and together they had six children.
Karen dedicated her life to caring for others, in addition to raising her six children, she worked in the healthcare industry for over 30 years as a Nurse’s Aide. She loved spending time with her family, staying in the know with all that was new and special in their lives. She was an expert at crossword puzzles, enjoyed playing the lottery, spending time at the casino and playing bingo.
She is survived by her children; Richard Fleeson, Sheryl Fleeson, Michael (Dana) Fleeson, Pamela (David) Freshcorn and Kelly Davis; thirteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and her sister, Dorothy (Robert) Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Steven Fleeson and brothers Walter and Tracy McClintick.
She will be remembered for her strong love for her family, her wit and the legacy that she has built through her family. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 2 pm until the time of the memorial service at 3 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home in Wampum with Pastor Dave Keppen presiding. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Clinton United Methodist Church.
