NOTICE: Snow & Ice On Sidewalks

Due to the large amount of snow that accumulated, there have been several complaints about sidewalks in the Borough that have not been cleared of snow and ice.

Winter Storm Izzy, named by The Weather Channel, was a HUGE winter storm that poured down on the East Coast with intense ice, snow, wind, and rain and dropped a foot or more of snow in several northeastern states, after slamming the Southeast over the Martin Luther King holiday weekend. The northeast corner of Ohio recorded 25 inches of snow, and forecasters in Buffalo, New York, recorded 18 inches by Monday. The southeast was hit hard by the storm over the weekend, with nearly 200,000 power outages reported.  Most of Allegheny, Beaver and Lawrence Counties saw 6 to 9 inches of a light fluffy snow.
