Anna Marie Colavincenzo, 89, of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
Born November 20, 1932 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Antoinette Cosentino Bellissimo. She was the beloved wife for 49 years to Herbert G. Colavincenzo when he passed on April 26, 2006. The loving mother to son Martin (Valerie) Colavincenzo and daughter Linda (Tim) Krings both of Pittsburgh. She was the best grandma to Dan, Kelly, and Christa Colavincenzo as well as Ben and Ella Krings. Anna is survived by sister-in-law Joan Bellissimo of Hershey, brother-in-law Raymond Colavincenzo of Clyde OH, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister Rose Ferrese and brothers, Frank, Vincent, Joseph, and Vito Bellissimo.
Anna graduated from Lincoln High School in 1950. She was a member of the Holy Redeemer and the Christian Mothers.
Anna loved being a lifelong resident of Ellwood City and was an avid reader enjoying her weekly visits to the library. Her family will miss her wonderful Sunday dinners and her fabulous fruit pies for dessert.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday January 16, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Holy Redeemer Parish on Monday January 17, 2022 at 11:00 am. Father Mark Thomas will officiate.
Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
