Francis Eugene Trevelline (Frank/ Fats/ Pap), 90, of Ripley NY, (formerly of Ellwood City) passed away on November 17, 2021 in his home, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born August 25,1931, in Boyers, PA. He was the son of the late Luigi and Amelia Campana Trevelline. Frank was married to Barbara Brown Trevelline for 38 years when she passed away in September 1995.
Frank founded the Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe in 1959, easiest job was to stick a fork in a wiener and put on a bun. He was a United States Army Veteran serving from 1952-1954 and Catholic by Faith. Frank enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting, riding his bike, going for walks, and sitting at his gazebo looking at Lake Erie. Frank was devoted and generous with his children and grandchildren. He is very proud of the life he built and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary (Rich) Martorana of Tiffin, OH, Barbie (Don) Anderson of Lyndonville, NY; three sons, Dan (Patty) Trevelline of Chippewa, PA. John (Cindy) Trevelline of Ripley, NY and Bob (Kelly) Trevelline of Corry, PA; brother, Ray Trevelline of Girard, OH; 17 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Karen Locke, three brothers; Paul, Joe, and Victor Trevelline and two sisters; Theresa LaCava and Ellen Doverspike.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday November 22, 2021 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.
Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday November 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home conducted by Father Mark Thomas.
Interment will follow in St. Peters Mausoleum.
