Philip James Bozlinski, 72, of Wampum passed away peacefully Thursday, September 2, 2021 surrounded by his loving family at his residence.
Born April 29, 1949 in New Castle, he was the youngest child of the late Nytody and Nellie Losten Bozlinski.
Philip was a lifelong farmer, who took over the dairy farm at the young age of 15. He loved the land he was steward over the land that God allowed him to farm. He also enjoyed showing dairy cows and instilled his love of farming to his children. Phil loved being a part of the Beaver Lawrence Holstein club and sat on the board for many years. He also enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. Phil sat on the FSA board for Lawrence and Mercer Counties for several years. He was an honorary Keystone Award winner. Phil was a large advocate of the Beaver Lawrence Jr. Holstein Club, where he was an active solicitor of donations to the Fun Auction
He is survived by his wife Cindy Johnson Bozlinski; three daughters, Nichol (Christopher) Deem of Burbank, OH, Crystal Bozlinski of Wampum, Sheila (Rob) Verone of Verona; son, James (Valeri) Bozlinski of Wampum; three grandchildren Robert and Chris Bozlinski and Lawrence Deem; sister, Olga B. Porter of New Galilee and his lifelong friend William R. Dice.
He was preceded in death by his brother; Mike Bozlinski; sister, Katherine Wike.
The celebration of Phil’s life will be held on Tuesday September 7, 2021 with visitation from 12:00 pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 3:00 pm at the Moravia Presbyterian Church. Pastor Charlene Kennedy will officiate.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Moravia Presbyterian Church.
If you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life and Philip loved his life on the farm.
