Donald W. Cragle, 61, of Ellwood City died Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver, after a lengthy illness. He was the son of the Late Donald and Nancy (Haswell) Cragle and was born August 1, 1960, in Ellwood City.
He was survived by his loving wife, of 41 years, Pamela Cragle, two children; Amy Cragle of Beaver Falls, Donnie Cragle; grandson; Logan Rees, two sisters; Kimberly Kaszer and her husband Mark of Ellwood City, Holly Cornelius, and her husband Bill of Ellwood City and one brother; Paul Robert Cragle of Ellwood City, along with and numerous nieces and nephews.
Don attended Riverside High School. He met and married the love of his life, Pamela Desko, in 1980. He was an avid deer hunter and he enjoyed camping and enjoyed watching TV car shows. He and his wife Pamela were constant and loving caregivers of their son, Donnie. He loved his dog, Peanut and enjoyed always having him around. He was an avid Pirates fan and always loved watching them play. He and his wife enjoyed going up to their camp, in Pearl, PA and always enjoyed spending time there. Don was a very compassionate man and always put others before himself. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Joey and Joshua Rees
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00pm, on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Turner Funeral Home.
