Mr. Joseph R. Baros, 78, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021 at the UPMC Jameson Care Center in New Castle.
Mr. Baros was born in Ellwood City to the late Joseph and Mary (Zona) Baros on October 30, 1942. He had attended Lincoln High School, and is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish. For 38 years Joe worked for the Borough of Ellwood City in the Street Department. and outdoorsman, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer.
He is survived by his sister, Cathy (Jerry) Balser of Ellwood City, nieces, Jere Ann (Ken) Pittner and Kathleen (Joe) Rocco, and great-nieces and nephews, Abby Rocco, Ava Rocco, Ainslee, Brock, and Mac Pittner.
Friends and family are invited to the Blessing Service which will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Father Mark Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
