Norma (Bleakney) McClintick died at the Landing of Canton in Canton, Ohio on June 22,2021. She was born on December 23, 1927, in Ellwood City.
She is survived by a daughter; Jill McClintick Randza and husband Mark, her son Bruce McClintick and wife, Jeanne. Grandchildren: Lisa Staiger (husband Michael), Colleen Day (husband Todd), Sean McClintick (wife, Karyn Pall McClintick). Great-grandchildren: Nicolas and Alex Staiger, Liam and Mara Grace Day, Adelynn and Brantley McClintick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, of 51years, William L. McClintick, a son William D. McClintick, and daughter Amy Beth, sisters: Ruth Bleakney Holzhauser, Shirley Bleakney Houck, and brother Kenneth Bleakney.
Norma worked at the Ellwood City Mattress Company. She then found the job that she loved as the Children’s Librarian at the Ellwood City Library. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her faith, family, and friends were most important in her life. Her baking skills were treasured by anyone who knew her. She was a member of First Christian Church in Ellwood City since childhood.
Friends may call on the family from 5:00pm-7:00pm, on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Turner Funeral Home, with a Memorial Service being held Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 1:30pm at Turner’s, with Pastor Scott Baker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ellwood City Public Library or the charity of your choice.
