Frank N. Yoho Jr., 81 of Wayne Township went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2021, after a prolonged illness. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank N. Yoho Sr. and Hannah M. (Grant) Yoho, as well as his brother John L. Yoho and his spouse Beverly Ann (Huffman) Yoho.
Frank is survived by his three children, Lisa R. (Yoho) Swift (Gary) of Cranberry Township, PA, Kimberly S. Yoho of Columbiana, OH, and Frank D. Yoho (Melinda) of Aliquippa, PA and his special friend Patty Freed of Wampum, PA.
Frank served in the Army during the Vietnam War Era. He continued with civil service at the American Legion Post 749 Wampum for 36 years serving as Commander for 18 years. He also served on the Wampum Parade Committee and performed as Santa Claus in the Wampum Parade for 20 years, in addition to donating his time as Santa Claus at local churches, and other organizations making kids and people happy during the Christmas season.
Frank had a degree in electrical technology and enjoyed woodworking, brick, and block laying. He retired from Babcock and Wilcox as a Melter Foreman and fill in General Foreman of melting. He ended his career as the head of maintenance at Golden Hill Nursing Home. As a man of many talents, Frank was a 32nd degree Master Mason with memberships at Lodge 599 of Ellwood City, the Masonic Temple of the Valley of New Castle Consistory and Tall Cedars of Lebanon New Castle.
The viewing will be held at Marshall Funeral Home in Wampum, PA on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday July 2, 2021 at 11:00 am with Rev. Jay Sterling officiating at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be sent to the American Legion Post 749, 436 Beaver Street, P.O. Box 367, Wampum, PA 16157.
