Rosalie L. McKinney, 87, of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital.
Born March 17, 1934 in Youngstown, she was the daughter of the late George and Florence Nolder Hover. She was married to Norman E. McKinney for 63 years. He passed on February 6, 2018.
Rosalie was formerly employed by Sotus Candy, Fisher Big Wheel, and also cleaned houses. Rosalie was an active member of the Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon, taught Sunday school, and sang in the choir. She enjoyed crafting and collecting bells. She loved her family especially time spent with her grand and great grandchildren.
Survivors include son, Kevin (Audrey) McKinney of Ellwood City; two daughters, Debby (Cliff) Boring of Ellwood City, and Pam (Ed) Coates of Ellwood City; eight grandchildren, Kevin (Normita) McKinney, Danielle McDowell, Kayla and Krista Boring, Jennifer (Lou) Miller, Denise Coates, Dan (Amber) and Ken (Julie) Goehring; nineteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; brother, David (Donna) Hover of Ohio; sister in law, Helen Burns of Ellwood City.
She was preceded in death by six sisters and four brothers.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday June 18, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Saturday June 19, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am with her pastor Rev. Rob Guy officiating at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.
Interment will follow in Wurtemburg Cemetery.
