Kathy L. Braunbeck, 51, of Fombell passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 7, 2021 at Heritage Valley in Beaver.
Born February 25, 1970 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Chester A. and Ethel L. Rape Black. She was also preceded in death by her husband Daniel Braunbeck who passed in October 2011.
Kathy graduated from Riverside in 1988. She was a current member of the Concord United Methodist Church. She enjoyed all outdoor activities, particularly taking walks. Kathy was an avid animal lover, especially her cat Smokey. She always attended local fairs and was the life of the party. Her most cherished moments, though, were spent with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Ryan (LeeAnne) Black of North Sewickley and Michael (Becky) Black of Bessemer; brother, Richard A. (Catherine) Black of South Carolina; five grandchildren Daniel, Dalton, Ackillez, Alekzander, and Alythea Black; and her cousin who was like a sister, Mary Lou Smith of New Castle.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday June 11, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.
Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on June 12, 2021 at 11:00 am with Pastor Chris Kindle officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Gregory’s in Zelienople.
