According to multiple news reports, a man was shot early Tuesday morning in Ellwood City, Lawrence County.
The shooting happened about 2:30 a.m. on Mercer Road, near Cutoff Street.
Police had Mercer Road blocked off with crime scene tape and at least a dozen evidence markers were placed on the road. An SUV that had its windows shot out was towed away.
The man who was shot was taken to a hospital, officials said. His condition has not been released.

UPDATE: 6/4/21, 8:05 a.m. via KDKA: 18-year-old Nyasanu Greene II, Senior, New Brighton High School, is still recovering in the ICU but is doing well.
