The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

The Library will be open by appointment only. Call the library to set-up an appointment to browse for books or use a computer. Anything printed must be paid for with exact change or check. We will not be making copies at this time. Newspapers and magazines will not be available. Limitations for patrons are 10 items with a limit of three, for either books on CD or DVD’s per person. Masks are to be worn, covering mouth and nose, while in the building for the entire visit. We will continue doing curbside pick-up. Please call us with the book(s), authors, genre or recommended material you would like to check out and our staff will see that it is in alphabetical order in the lobby for you. Limitations for patrons are 10 items to include books and limited to a total of three DVD’s or books on CD per person. All patrons must wear a mask when entering the lobby and wait until there are less than three people in the lobby. We are still doing our returns in specially marked containers in our lobby. Please do not put any donated books in these bins. 724-758-6458 is the number to call with requests.
Hours are Tuesday 10:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m., Wednesday 10:00 a.m. – 6:15 p.m. Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Lobby is open during these times for curbside pick-up and returns. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above. Activities taking place this week include.

6:30 p.m. – “Classics Book Group,” the group will be discussing the book “The Good Earth” by Pearl Buck through Zoom.
TUESDAY, APRIL 13
10:00 a.m. – “Baby Laptime,” this virtual program will be on our Facebook page.
7:00 p.m. – “Twenty-something Book Group,” the group will be discussing the book “The Secret History” by Donna Tartt through Zoom.
THURSDAY, APRIL 15
6:00 p.m. – “Family Laptime,” this virtual program will be on our Facebook page.
