Ellwood City Borough Council met Monday night.
Borough Manager, David Allen, accounced that trash proposals are up for bid and a Park Manager position is available.
He said work continues on the 7L Playground, at the intersection of 7th Street and Lawrence Avenue, as well as Stiefel Park.

- A motion to approve the Pre-Paid Voucher List dated 3/9/21, in the amount of $602,397.53, and the List of Vouchers to be Paid dated 3/10/21, in the amount of $169,756.94.
- A motion to approve the Departmental Reports, as submitted.
- A motion to adopt a Resolution, as submitted, adopting the 2021 Lawrence County Hazard Mitigation Plan.
- A motion to adopt a Resolution, as submitted, approving the intermunicipal transfer of a Restaurant Liquor License (R-10425) by Tydagio, LLC.

This amount will be paid from the Sewage Fund.”

- A motion to approve the quote in the amount of $5,190 from Power Substation Services to change the oil in two regulators. This amount will be paid from the 2017 Bond Issue.
- A motion to approve the agreement, as submitted, with PA American Water Co. (PAWC) relative to the termination of water service for non-payment of the Borough’s sewer charges. All charges assessed from PAWC for the shut off/reconnect request will be charged to the sewage customer.
- A motion to approve the request by the Boy Scout Troop #806 to camp out at shelter #8 on April 16/17 and to have a small camp fire.
- A motion to approve the request to hold the Ellwood City Ledger 10K Race on Saturday, July 3 at 9am. It is further requested to utilize the changing facilities at the Veteran’s Memorial Swimming Pool as well as the parking lot from 7am to 11:30am.

- A motion to adopt a Resolution, as submitted, authorizing the filing of an application for funds in the amount of $750,000 with the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). This HOME Grant program application will be submitted by Lawrence Co. Social Services (LCSS) on behalf of Ellwood City Borough, Ellport Borough, and Perry Township.
- A motion would be in order to approve the request by the girls slow pitch softball to use the men’s field at Stiefel Park in April on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. – dark.
- A motion to give an accommodation to the Ellwood City Boys and Girls Basketball teams.

Announcements
- Picnic shelter reservations will begin on the fourth Monday in March (Mar. 22) for non-Borough residents.
- Military Banner forms must be returned to Gabby Gretch by May 1, so the banners can be ordered and put up this year.
