Glenn H. Marshall, 94, of Koppel passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at UPMC – Jameson Hospital following a brief illness.
Born October 21, 1926 in Koppel, he was the son of the late Harold C. and Anna Houk Marshall. He was married to Geraldine J. Harper for 69 years. She died January 6, 2017.
Glenn was a United States Navy Veteran serving on the USS Caliente in the Philippines during WWII. Glenn was a current member of the Bell Memorial Church. He retired from the B&W in Koppel after 27 years as a maintenance foreman. He loved building and repairing just about anything. He restored his 1931 Model A and was a member of the Model A club. Glenn enjoyed watching sports, especially the Steelers and Penguins. His most cherished moments were spent with family.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Bastian of Ellwood City, Linda (Jerry) Crowl of East Palestine; son, Glenn “Bud” (Terri) Marshall of Koppel; sister, Joann Docchio of Koppel; brother, Paul (Anita) Marshall of Cincinnati; four granddaughters, Amber (Jamie) Hudspath, Jodi Kotuby, Johnna (Eli) Collinsworth, Sara (Mike) Sharpe; two grandsons, Dave (Jamie) Kotuby, Zachary (Ann) Marshall; 7 great grandchildren; and his beloved dog Max.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by four brothers, Donald Marshall during WWII, Bill Marshall, T. Howard Marshall, and Mervin Marshall; two sisters, Ruth Abert and Norma Marshall.
Private Funeral Services will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City on January 23, 2021 with Pastor Tom O’Brien of the 1st Christian Church officiating.
Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
