Loretta E. Leslie, 80, of Wampum passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, January 2, 2021. Although she was in ill health, death was unexpected.
Born April 2, 1940 in Sharpsburg, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Jane E. Miller Czartorski. She was married to Charlie Leslie for 60 years, he survives.
Loretta graduated from Mt. Jackson High School in 1958. She was a member of the Wampum Presbyterian Church. Loretta was an avid and accomplished bowler.
In addition to her husband, Charlie, survivors include a daughter, Stacey (Chris) Carlson of Venice, FL; son in law, Michael Romano of Bessemer; two sisters, Yvonne Klingensmith of Shenango Township and Barbara Gray of Johnstown; brother, Henry J. (Dolly) Czartorski of FL; three granddaughters, Abby Carlson, Macy and Maria Romano; two grandsons, Matthew Carlson and Michael Romano; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Vikki Romano on February 6, 2006.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service to celebrate Loretta’s life will be announced at a later date.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Wampum Presbyterian Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum.
