Evelyn E. Lutz Webster, 76, of North Sewickley Twp. passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver.
Born October 9, 1944 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Clarence K. and Florence E. (McClurg) Cummins. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas W. Lutz in 2001 and Daniel Webster in 2019.
Evelyn graduated from Beaver Falls High School. She worked as a phlebotomist at the Ellwood City Hospital for many years. She was a member of the Concord United Methodist Church and its Joy Sunday School Class. Evelyn loved to bake pies and she baked them for the former Kauffman House for many years. Evelyn also loved to fish and go camping in Tionesta. Evelyn was a very generous woman. She would anonymously send money or gifts to those in need. Over the years she cooked for the church youth group, she was a camp counselor at Jumonville , and many other activities that made her a very special woman.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan (Michael) Evans of South Dakota, Kristine L. (Mark) Murphy of New Brighton; son, James W. (Kelli) Lutz of Wampum; three brothers, William (Jane) Cummins of New Castle, James (Debbie) Cummins of South Carolina, Robert (Robin) Cummins of Racine, PA; brother in law, Donald A. (Karen) Lutz of North Sewickley; seven grandchildren, Daniel (Tierra) Evans, Katelyn (Jeff) Diggs, Patrick and Thomas Lutz, and Kian, Kyleigh, and Kaden Murphy; two great grandchildren, Allie and Charlotte Evans; and lifelong friends, Larry and Linda McCaslin of Ellport.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, funeral services will be private. Her pastor, Rev. John H. Phipps will officiate with interment following in the Concord Church Cemetery. Please be with us in prayer.
