Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week of December 7

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

PLEASE NOTE:

Due to the surge in numbers of COVID-19 cases in our area, the Ellwood City Area Public Library will be joining other public libraries in western Pennsylvania and will suspend in-person visits beginning Tuesday, November 24.

The Library will continue doing curbside pick-up. Please call us with the book(s), authors, genre or recommended material you would like to check out and our staff will see that it is in alphabetical order in the lobby for you. Limitations for patrons are 10 items to include books and limited to a total of three DVD’s or books on CD per person. All patrons must wear a mask when entering the lobby and wait until there are less than three people in the lobby. We are still doing our returns in specially marked containers in our lobby. Please do not put any donated books in these bins. 724-758-6458 is the number to call with requests.

Hours are Tuesday 10:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m., Wednesday 10:00 a.m. – 6:15 p.m. Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Lobby is open during these times for curbside pick-up and returns. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8

10:00 a.m. – “Holiday Laptime” done through Facebook.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9

6:00 p.m. – “Wonderful Winter Wednesday” a craft and story program done through Zoom. You must register for this program by calling the library.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 10

5:00 p.m. – “Food 4 Thought Book Group,” the group will be discussing the book “Birthmarked” by Caragh O’Brien

6:00 p.m. – “Holiday Storytime” done through Facebook
