All one has to do is listen to some of the board meetings online to get an idea of just how toxic a few members have made the entire board.
Is the public aware there are members who are voting on agenda items brought up simply because their own kids are in that particular sport/event? For months those members talked about the soccer program because that board members kids was in soccer. For months they wasted time on band lunch and band uniform cleaning services. Why?? Because the board presidents kid is in band. Gifted field trips and volleyball nets get approved because a members kid is in/on both. These members should be abstaining from these votes! For MONTHS these items were discussed and time was wasted on them! All the while the school is dealing with severe budget issues and returning to school during a pandemic.
The board president talks to the principles with such disdane and venom in her voice it is appalling. She is so disrespectful to all who disagree with her. Her and her cronies need to stay in their lane and treat them with respect. They DO NOT know more that the teachers or administration!
There are multiple violations happening everyone should be aware of. The Sunshine Act is being violated on multiple occasions. Ethical Acts regarding the budget and allowing the public 10 days prior notice to review before they vote on a final budget has been violated. They should NOT be getting away with this!
A few member have formed some sort of mean girls club one would find in high school. Please grow up! This school board has some severe internal issues with a certain few members. It needs fixed NOW!
