Despite a temporary setback last week with a temporary suspension, the Ellwood City Playground Program is resuming.
According to information made available by borough, the Playground Program at Ewing Park will resume Tuesday June 23rd at the regularly scheduled times.
The program was temporarily suspended after it was notified an individual that participates in the program on a daily basis was exposed to an individual who has tested positive for Covid-19. However, the awaited Covid-19 test has come back negative this week.
The program safety procedures will remain in place; instructors will continue to wear masks, participants will be divided into small groups, regular hand sanitation, social distancing at all times, and daily cleaning of the shelters.
The program thanks everyone for your patience during this time and will look forward to seeing everyone back in Ewing Park.
The playground program started on Friday, June 12 with registration available for those children in the Ellwood City School District.
