Domenick William (Billy) DeCampli, 70, of Zelienople passed away May 9, 2020 following a brief illness. Named after his two grandfathers, Dominic DeCampli and William Steffler “Billy” as he became known, was born in Ellwood City, Pa on March 21, 1950 to the late Nick and Laureen (Klear) DeCampli. Billy graduated from Lincoln High School in 1968. He was well known for his talented guitar playing, elaborate storytelling and recording talent. He was an avid deer hunter. Billy enjoyed entertaining people with his guitar playing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Mr. DeCampli is survived by three sons; Erik DeCampli of Center Township, Nicholas DeCampli of Orangevale, CA, Gage DeCampli of Butler and his girlfriend; Terri McKean of Zelienople; two granddaughters; Ashley Colatriano and Evie DeCampli. Brother, David DeCampli and three sisters; Linda Obetts, Adele DeCampli Cirkelis and Diane McCarty. Six nephews, three nieces and an Uncle Lee (Bud) Steffler.
Billy is preceded death by his parents Nick and Laureen (Klear) DeCampli
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Billy DeCampli’s life will be done at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
