On Friday, and in advance to the national state of emergency declaration, the state of Pennsylvania stepped up containment efforts by ordering a two-week closure of all public schools and urging residents to stay away from malls, gyms and other public spaces.
In accordance, the Office of Commonwealth Libraries has instructed all Pennsylvania public libraries to close Saturday through March 29, to coincide with the school closure.
According to information made available by the Ellwood City Public Library, the library plans to re-open March, 30, 2020.
Below are the memorial submissions for the week of March, 16, 2020.
