Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week of March 2

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities.  Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

Activities taking place this week include

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4

10:00 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” a weekly program that is free and open to the public. It is designed to help reduce stresses of everyday life. All adults are welcome.

3:00 p.m. – “Creative Writing Workshop,” for students in seventh grade and up. This group meets twice each month to share their work and discuss writing tips and techniques.

6:30 p.m. – “Evening Book Group for Adults,” the group will be discussing the book “Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens.

THURSDAY, MARCH 5

10:00 a.m. – “Dr. Suess’ Birthday Program,” a kick off to the preschool story hour. This program is designed for children age 3 and up. Featured are stories, songs, finger plays and more. This fall session will be held each week on Thursdays. Registration is requested.

3:00 p.m. – “Hooked on Books Book Group,” the group will be discussing the book “The Shadow Cipher” by Laura Ruby.

6:00 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” which meets weekly to work on individual projects. New members are welcome.

SAVE THE DATE:

Tickets for the upcoming local performance of the Tamburitzans will be available to purchase at the Ellwood City Area Public Library Saturday March 14, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Friday March 20, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Monthly movies for adults will resume March 25. Call the library for the movie titles.
