Dorothy M. Wiley, 91,of Denny Schill Manor, Ellwood City went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17, 2020.
Born July 29, 1928 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Frances (Miller) Tanner.
Dorothy worked at various companies in the area including Bell Telephone, the former Benjamin’s Hallmark Store, the Ellwood City Library and the Ellwood City School District, but her most loved job was raising her two children. She attended Victory Family Church and was an avid Steeler fan. Dorothy loved to read.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Salvati of Zelienople; granddaughter, Nicole Marie (Jervis) Cowan; a daughter in law, Barbara Wiley of Georgia and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth in 1996 and three brothers, Frederick G., Earl Richard, and Merle “Gene” Tanner
Per Dorothy’s wishes, there will be no visitation.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Ellwood City Library.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
