Dora May Kumrow, 90

Dora May Kumrow, 90, formerly of North Beaver Twp. passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2019 at the Masternick Memorial Home in New Middletown, Ohio following an extended illness.

Born October 17, 1929 in Painesville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Carl Albert and Lucy Elizabeth (Stickle) Wigley . She was married to William Herman Kumrow Sr. who died May 21, 1983.

Dora May graduated from Mt Jackson High School. She retired in 1989 following 28 years of service as a Bus Driver for the Mohawk High School District. Dora was a member of the Chewton Christian Church and the former Madison Ave. Christian Church in New Castle. She enjoyed maintaining her property, especially mowing her lawn and flower gardening. She was a member of the Wampum Seniors and the Mt Jackson Seniors.

Survivors include a daughter, Lucinda “Cindy” (Rick) Altman of North Beaver Twp.; son, William H. (Ann) Kumrow Jr. of New Castle; brother, Danny (Margaret) Wigley of Lancaster, PA; granddaughter, Ashley Kumrow of New Castle; great granddaughter, Arianna Zarlingo and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister, Shirley Boots..

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 10 from 4-8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 am with Pastor Gene Hydrick officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Park Cemetery.
