Lana Fabian, 70

Lana Fabian, 70, of Wampum passed away unexpectedly on November 28, 2019 at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle, PA. She was born on November 26, 1949 to the late George and Dorothy (Derrow) Shallenberger of Wampum.

Lana is survived by her husband of 29 years, George Fabian of Wampum; her four children: Carrie (Chad) Youkers of West Middlesex; Christina (John) Lindsey of Sheffield; Kelly (Robert) Jones of Ellwood City; Andrew (Kyleigh) Angleton of Wampum; her seven grandchildren: Joshua Angleton of West Middlesex, Sarah Odom of Ellwood City, Jack Lindsey of Sheffield, Wyatt Lindsey of Sheffield, Zeke Lindsey of Sheffield, Emma Jones of Ellwood City, and Declan Lindsey of Sheffield. Also surviving are three sisters and one brother: Judy Stelter of Wampum, Janet (James) Schaas of Wampum, Georgia (William) Powell of Wampum, and Charles (Diane) Shallenberger of Portersville, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graduate of Lincoln High School, she dedicated 25 years of service to the Ellwood City Area School District. Lana was completely devoted to her family and loved spoiling her grandchildren. She was an avid supporter of the PA State Lottery and enjoyed taking care of everyone close to her.

Preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Cynthia, Lana is very loved and will be missed by many but the memories of her will always be cherished.

The TURNER FUNERAL HOME, 500 6TH Street, Ellwood City, is entrusted with arrangements.

    Our deepest sympathies to George and the family. Aunt Lana will be missed by everyone. She was a kind and special person to everyone. May your family find peace with all the wonderful memories that were made together. May God keep his arms around your family, letting them know that you are at peace. We love and will miss you.
