Wondering how you will survive the weeks surrounding Thanksgiving and Christmas? Are you dreading these holidays, knowing that everything has changed and that happy memories from past years can’t be recreated?
Two local events are planned to provide help, hope and navigate the upcoming holiday season.
Calvin Presbyterian Church will host a “Surviving the Holidays” on Sunday, November 3rd from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Registration will begin at 1:00 p.m.
Led by Ginny Brest, the one-day seminar is a program of GriefShare intended to provide practical holiday coping strategies and hope for brighter days ahead.
Our GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays seminar is especially for people who are grieving a loved one’s death. Attendees will learn:

- How to discover hope for your future
There is no charge for this program, however, reservations are recommended. If planning to attend, please use the lower-level Crescent Avenue entrance. You can make reservations online at www.griefshare.org/holidays or call the church office at 724-758-4258.
