Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual fall festival and car cruise event on Saturday in downtown Ellwood City. There was plenty of food, vendors, family activities, and local entertainment for the masses who attended.
The event drew over 8,000 people to the downtown area of Ellwood City according to Kayla Hart, Executive Director of Media, at the Ellwood Chamber.
“It was heartwarming to stop and observe the sea of people all the way down Lawrence Avenue making memories with their families, supporting small businesses, and enjoying Ellwood City,” said Hart.
The main Fall Festival & Car Cruise Sponsor was McElwain Motors. Caffeine & Cars sponsor was Pittsburgh International Race Complex
The annual Car Show started bright and early at Pittsburgh International Race Complex at 7:00 am with the “Cars & Caffeine” event which was free for participants. 100 Car Cruisers enjoyed coffee from National Grind before doing parade laps for an hour at the Pitt Race track. After the event, participants received access to reserved parking at the Car Show.
With over 80 vendors this year, the Fall Festival had something for everyone to enjoy! For event entertainment, there were three local bands – Wine & Spirit, 288, and Super Midnight, plus two DJ’s, Mike Romigh and DJ Franco.
