Donald F. McGeorge, 89, of North Beaver Twp. passed away Friday, July 19, 2019 at Avalon Nursing Center following a short illness.
Born July 5, 1930 in Enon Valley, he was the son of the late C. Marvin and Clara (Herb) McGeorge.
Don formerly worked at Clark’s Dairy and then at Ace Protective Services where he was a security guard. He graduated from Mt. Jackson high School in 1948. Don enjoyed travel, sports, and working crossword puzzles.
Survivors include two sisters, Eleanor and Grace McGeorge, both of North Beaver Twp; brother, Bill McGeorge of Darlington; two nieces and one nephew.
Private services will be held on Monday, July 22 at 2 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum. Rev. Elizabeth Wallace of the Wampum Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment will follow in the Reformed Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
