Trinity Lutheran Church Celebrates 125 Years

The Trinity Lutheran Church celebrated 125 years with a very special event last Sunday, June 9, 2019, receiving a commendation from the Borough of Ellwood City Mayor Anthony Court.

“Trinity Lutheran and especially the parishioners have been a pillar in our community and that helps make Ellwood City what it is today,” said Court. “I was proud to present this proclamation for this most wonderful accomplishment!”

According to the church website, their mission statement reads: We are committed to being God’s Presence in the Ellwood City area with a mission of evangelism and outreach that seeks to spread the Good News in Jesus Christ, inviting others to join us in the worship and work of our Lord.  We are committed to read, study, and meditate upon the Word of God.  And through prayer and the Holy Spirit’s guidance, we are empowered to respond to those in need.
