Ellport Borough Yard Sale, Clean Up Day Planned

Ellport Borough will be hosting two events for residents within the first two weeks of June.

To kick off the summer season, there will be an Ellport Community Yard Sale on Saturday, June 1st from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Later in the month, there will be an Ellport Borough Clean-up Day, scheduled for Saturday, June 15th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Items can only be dropped off at that time. Those interested must be a borough resident and purchase a ticket at the Borough office. The cost is $10 per car/truck/van load. When purchasing your ticket, please pick-up a list of prohibited items.

Drop off is at the borough garage maintenance building on June 15 only.

Ellport was incorporated as a Borough in 1928. It is a residential community in southern Lawrence County and is bordered by Connoquenessing Creek. The 2010 Census gave Ellport a population of 1,180 residents.
