Open House for the Child Advocacy Center

Mayor Anthony Court and Lt. David Kingston of the Ellwood City Police Department presented the Children’s Advocacy Center of Lawrence County, a Commendation at the LCCAC “Open House” held yesterday as part of their “Great Childhood Campaign” kickoff. On hand for a question and answer session were various advocates for LCCAC including a Trauma Therapist, Forensic Interviewer, and the Board Chair.

The LCCAC sponsored the open house from 2p-6p yesterday. Ellwood City Police Dept. was able to coordinate with LCCAC to open an office in Ellwood City last year after obtaining a grant to open a satellite office to provide multi-purpose services to the Ellwood City Area.
