Two Ellwood Students Selected For The Roundball Classic All-Stars

Ellwood City Wolverines basketball stars Broc Boariu and Isabella Roth have been selected to participate in the annual Roundball Classic All-Star Basketball Games set for April 12th and April 13th at Geneva College

“I have worked so hard these past years, and I’m so glad that I have been selected to play with some of the best players in the WPIAL,” said Isabella Roth.

Isabella Roth leads the Lady Wolverines to a final 13-10 (6-8) season as well as a first-round game in the 3A WPIAL playoffs. Roth averaged 11.2 points per game and 3.6 rebounds per game this season. She will be part of the 3A/2A team alongside three other players from 3A Section 1. Roth plays the 3A/2A vs. 6A/A game at 2 PM on April 13th.

Broc Boariu, leading the Wolverines to a 6-16 (2-10) season, also averaged 11.1 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game his Senior season. He will be part of the West Multiple teams alongside three other players from 3A Section 1. Boariu will be part of the East vs. West game at 6 PM on April 12th.
