$1,000 Television Stolen From Women’s Home.
On Sunday, February 24 at 10:52 p.m. Ellwood City police reported to an address on Fourth Street that was found to be the residence of Ashley Hall-Worrell.
Worrell claimed that when she came home, she noticed the window on the south side wall of her living room had been removed and her 55 inch Samsung television had been taken from the wall. The television costs around $1,000.
Police believe the break-in could have happened between Saturday, February 23 at 5:00 p.m. until Sunday, February 24 at 10:40 p.m.
No suspects have been released at this time.
Petty Theft Hits Local Grocery Store
Ellwood City police had been called to local grocery store Loccisano’s on Monday, February 25 at around 11:23 a.m.
Managers had reported that they believed a male and a female had come into the store and stolen one package of steaks, a container of yogurt, and a Gatorade. All of which cost an unknown amount of money.
Video surveillance caught the two suspects leaving in a yellow Chevrolet Cobalt.
Driving Under the Influence
According to reports from the magistrate offices, John Daryl Caccia, 40, of Ellwood City, has been charged by Ellwood City police with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of failure to stop at stop sign.
