Mark N. “Marko” Fontana, 63, of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, January 23 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born in Ellwood City on April 26, 1955 to Betty J. Weingartner Fontana, and the late Amey N. Fontana, who died September 25 1992.
Mark attended Lincoln High School, and graduated from the Lawrence County Vo-Tech in 1973.
He was a self-employed artist, and a former truck driver.
He was a member of Bell Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Mark also belonged to the Ellwood City Hungarian Home. He enjoyed NASCAR and cooking.
He is survived by his mother, Betty J. Fontana, and by one brother, Rick (and Roselyn) Fontana of Fombell ; and by one sister, Toni (and Robert) Kastroll of Zelienople.
Also surviving are two nephews and one niece: Brock Fontana, Noah Kastroll, and Emily Kastroll.
Private visitation and memorial services are planned at a later date at the TURNER FUNERAL HOME, 500 Sixth Street, Ellwood City.
Memorial donations may be made to Bell Memorial Church Memorial Fund, 610 Line Avenue, or to the Ellwood City Public Library, 415 Lawrence Avenue, Ellwood City PA 16117.
