JoAnn McBride Johnson, 83, of Little Beaver Twp., Enon Valley died Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on November 14.
Born August 8, 1935 on McBride Rd. in North Beaver Twp., she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Wilda McKinney McBride . She was married to Bradley K. Johnson who passed away in 2002.
JoAnn worked for McCarter Transit as a bus driver for the Blackhawk School District for 15 years. She was a member and Deacon at the Enon Valley Presbyterian Church and also attended the Moravia Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the VFW Post #8106 in New Galilee. JoAnn was a vibrant woman who loved to travel and was always looking for new adventures.
Survivors include four children, Cindy (Phil) Bozlinski of Wampum, Jon (Sue) Johnson of Panama City, Florida, Rosalie (Jack) Byers of Enon Valley, Thomas Johnson of Enon Valley; nine grandchildren, Nicki (Chris) Deem, Jimmy (Valeri) Bozlinski, Crystal Bozlinski, Melony Bofinger, Paul (Katherine) Engle, Michael (McKenzie) Engle, Anna (Kyle) Rybacki, Elena (Jon) Laidler, Paige Johnson; and three great grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Helen Paden Scott and Mont McBride.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday November 24 from 11 am until the time of the funeral service at 3 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum. Rev. Duane Herron of Enon Valley Presbyterian Church and Charlene Kennedy, Pastor of Moravia Presbyterian Church will officiate.
