On Saturday, October 27 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. you can join Digital Paranormal Investigations to investigate the Wampum Train Station. You might just witness something that’s not completely human. The event is being sponsored by Wampum Community Revitalization.
Digital Paranormal Investigations is a group that investigates supposedly haunted buildings, areas, or they even make house calls to homes that the people that live there believe that something else is in the house. They mostly tour Ohio and Western Pa. locations.
We spoke to Joe Moczan from Digital Paranormal Investigations about the group. He informed us that he’s been involved with the paranormal for 25 years and considers this his way of “communicating with the unseen”.
“[Digital Paranormal Investigations] made me more spiritual, there are things going on around us that we don’t know about,” said Moczan.
There is no criteria for these hauntings and how they investigate them. However, they will occasionally commence in a ‘cleansing’ with holy water and some sage. Moczan believes that he isn’t dealing with anything evil, but he still tries to not insult whoever he’s speaking to.
Digital Paranormal Investigations claims that all of their footage, recordings, etc. are all true. However, 95% of the proof is cleaned up for clarification purposes. They slow down footage and/or audio 70%, and they filter through any static as well. Other then that, any and all videos are considered raw footage.
They plan on being able to present Lawrence County with live evidence of the paranormal along with supplying answers in a Q&A at the train station on Saturday.
