The Riverside annual Haunted Hayride, sponsored by Riverside Outdoor Athletic Renovation (ROAR) starts with a preview night on Thursday October 11th from 7:30-9:30p.m.
The Haunted Hayride is one of several fundraisers conducted by ROAR throughout the year. Nearly 200 volunteers come together to create a fun event for the community, and over 1100 people enjoyed the experience.
This year, Roar has had the assistance of a Riverside alumni, John Guerrini. He has been the mastermind behind many of the scenes of this year’s hayride. He created props and eerie creatures. His work can be found on his Facebook page called Omega FX.
The scheduled nights go as the following:
Thursday October 11 (preview night)
7:30 -9:30pm
Saturday, October 13
6 – 7 pm non-spooky
7:30 – 10:30 pm
Sunday, October 14
6 – 7 pm non-spooky $5
7:30 -9:30 pm $10
Ticket costs are $10 for spooky rides, $5 for the non-spooky, and $8 for the preview night on Thursday.
