Lois A. Bauder, 86, of Portersville passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018.
Born May 6, 1932 in Butler County, she was the youngest daughter of the late Frank and Lucille Wenner Hilliard. She was married to George “Jake” Bauder for 58 years when he passed in 2009.
Lois was a fun person that enjoyed life. She had many jobs throughout her lifetime. She worked at Dustproof, Steele Print, Eldelmans Print Shop, Wayhauser, and retired from Browns Country Kitchen in 2009 at the age of 77. She was a member of the Mountville Church in Portersville. She enjoyed garage sales, flea markets, playing cards, and eating out. She was a wonderful mother and a fantastic grandmother.
She leaves behind her daughter, Tammy (Mark) Bauder and grandson, Nate (Gabrielle Lordi) Bauder, all of Ellwood City; two sisters, Marjorie Stephenson and Doris Pfeifer, both of Portersville; two sister in laws, Louise Bauder of Florida, Joyce (Lanny) Campbell of Harrisville; and many nieces, nephews and her cat, Penny.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a niece, Wendy Evans.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday October 2 from 3 pm until the time of the funeral service at 6 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home. 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Her pastor, Rev. Patrick Keeley will officiate the service Final interment will follow in Mountville Cemetery.
