The Penn State Co-Op Extension will present on the importance of composting from 8-9am.

“Summer of Art”: The Ellwood City Art Club is offering Saturday art classes lead by art club members. These classes are open to everyone and held at the Ellwood Area Family Center from 10am-12pm. Reservations are due 2 weeks prior to the class. Today’s drawing class “Principal of Design” – 7 things that is used in every piece of art. Call the Art Club at 724-758-2211 for more information.

Rabies Vaccine Clinic: Feline Friends of Ellwood City is holding a Rabies Vaccine Clinic at Reed’s Services in Ellwood City from 10am-2pm. No appointments, walk-ins only.

Lawrence County Summer Sojourn: This outing gives people of all ages and experience levels a chance to have a river adventure. Registration fees includes a guided paddle, event t-shirt, and picnic at the end of the event. Register at www.co.lawrence.pa.us/lawrence-county-summer-sojourn.

Wampum Trail Town Festival: Celebrate local trails on both land and water! The festival includes learning about the North Country Trail, food vendors, craft vendors, and outdoor goods & services vendors. ECACC Golf Outing: The Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding their 30th Annual Golf Outing at Connoquenessing Country Club.

Wednesday, June 27th:

Movie Night for Adults: The Ellwood City Public Library is hosting a movie night beginning at 6pm. The movie this month is “The Glass Castle.”

Friday, June 29th:

Ellwood City Arts, Crafts, & Foods Festival: Make plans to attend Ellwood City area’s largest community event! The Festival is located on the grounds of Ellwood City’s Ewing Park and is easily accessible for local residents as well as visitors attending from afar.
