Stephenie A. Freed, 51, of Fredonia passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital following a short illness.
Born October 4, 1966 in Franklin, PA, she was the daughter of Stephen J. and Anna Mae Cook Rogers. She was married to David Freed, he survives.
Stephenie was a member of the Western PA Dairy Goat Association. A published author, she wrote two books, “When Buddy Sings” and “Lady in the Lane.” Her most cherished time was spent with her children and family.
Survivors include five daughters, Teala and Sabrena Freed of Grove City, Sara-Anne, Ashlee L., Caya-Dawn, and a son, Sean-Michael Freed, all of Fredonia;. two sisters, Stacy (David) Waters of Washington, PA, and Shannon Rodgers of KY;.
Friends will be received on Thursday June 7, from 12 pm until the time of Memorial Sevice at 1pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street, Wampum, with Rev. Todd Davis officiating.
