Frank D. Martz, 62, of Rhode Island Ave, Ellwood City passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
Born January 26, 1956 in Hamburg, NY, he was the son of Thomas L. Martz of Ellwood City and the late Patti J. Milliren-Mantz. He was married to Dana Pocza Martz February 16th, 1980, she survives.
Frank graduated from Lincoln High School in 1975, then went on to obtain an Accounting Degree from Geneva College in 1979. He stared working at ESB Bank in 1975 as a stock boy and rose thru the ranks until retiring as the Sr VP of Financial Services. Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing, walking his best friend Dude, playing basketball, and mostly cherished times spent with friends and family.
With his father and his wife, survivors also include a son, Thomas (Jessica) Martz of SC; and a sister, Terri (Rick) Weingartner of Ellwood.
Friends will be recieved on Wednesday June 6, from 10am till the time of the Memorial Service at 11am at the Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church with Rev. Carolyn Moss officiating.
The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the doctors and staff of the CTICU-ward and UPMC Presbyterian Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Holy Redeemer Ministerium Social Services (Food Bank) 603 Bridge St. Ellwood City, PA 16117 or the Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church, 258 Slippery Rock Dr.
