Mark A. Campbell, 61, of Ellwood City (Franklin Twp.), passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, May 21, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Ellwood City on August 25 1956, to the late Wayne T. Campbell, and the late Clara C. Yeykal Campbell.
Mark graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, class of 1974. He attended both Edinboro University and the University of Pittsburgh.
Passionate about politics, he worked for the Edward “Ted” Kennedy campaign for President and other campaigns.
Mark worked as an engineer in imaging, for Ritz Camera Centers, expanding their network to over 200 stores. He also was a technical writer, and published many trade magazines in the imaging field.
He also was a pilot, and loved aviation, and flew small aircraft.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly A. Bowers Campbell.
He is also survived by his brother, Wayne (and Wendy) Campbell Jr. of Darien CT, and three nephews, and three nieces, as well as his mother-in-law, Janet Bowers of Gibsonia.
Mark is also survived by his best friends, his golden retriever, Kirby, and his cat, Kitcat.
Visitation will be private at the TURNER FUNERAL HOME, 500 Sixth Street, Ellwood City.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Redeemer Church, 415 Fourth Street, Ellwood City with Rev. Fr. Zachary Galiyas, officiating.
Burial will be in Holy Redeemer Parish Cemetery.
