Mrs. Lois Siovaila, 87, of Ellport departed for Heaven on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the UPMC Jameson Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Siovaila was born on April 12, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Peter P. and Pauline (Jurick) Schalois. Lois worked at Prince Beaterman Textile in Cleveland, the Ellwood City Knitting Mill, Romar Textile, and Dustproof. She enjoyed sewing and gardening.
Mrs. Siovaila is survived by her husband, Paul Siovaila whom she married on March 16, 1950, her daughter-in-law, Shirley Siovaila of Knoxville, TN, her grandchildren, Tressa (Jerry) Miller, Angela (Benjamin) Siovaila-Erza, Carla (Michael) Hyer, and Timothy (Angela) Siovaila, and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Jean (David) Miller of Sun City, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Timothy J. Siovaila, and her sisters, Florence Getts, Margaret Grisak, Marie Sobensk, and Pauline Wysocki.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00 pm until the time of the service at 7:30 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services with Rev. Matthew Bupp officiating. Interment will be at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
