ELLPORT- Christopher M. Rusnock, 33, of 113 Duncan Ave., is charged with three counts of manufacturing, delivery or possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of children, after wife files a protection abuse order against him.
According to a police report, Rusnock’s wife arrived at the Ellwood City Police Department on Friday with a protection abuse order obtained through the Lawrence County Courthouse.
Mrs. Rusnock said, her husband had become abusive over the past year and had held a gun to her head three separate occasions and threatened to kill her. She had become fearful for her and her children’s lives. The victim stated Rusnock had illegal guns and drugs in the house and he had been dealing.
The victim gave police permission to search the house and detached garage. Police entered the home and found Rusnock with his two-year-old child.
Police searched and seized eight individual pots containing suspected marijuana, three florescent grow lights, an electric heater and humidifier, scales, heat shield mats, a plastic baggie containing 11.9 grams of suspected heroin, a prescription bottle containing heroin and loose cocaine in baggies 20.5 grams, multiple syringes and other drug paraphernalia.
There were packing materials including plastic baggies, cutting agents, face masks and syringes as well as $263 in cash, 88 grams of heroin and a semi-automatic handgun seized from the property. Rusnock remained in the Lawrence County Jail Tuesday on a $50,000 bond.
