On March 8, 2018 the Mayor’s Advisory Committee met in Council Chambers.
The Mayor stressed the importance of being aware of your surroundings especially at night, to combat crime.
Discussed was the possibility of hiring another Police Officer. The Mayor advised that the Borough is employing many ways to attack crime, preventive measures. Some of these preventive measures have led to many drug arrests, 422 since Court has taken office. One of the new measures is “Perception is Everything” and commands immediate attention.
The committee discussed that there have been many accomplished people applying for the Borough manager’s position.
The next Mayors Advisory Committee meeting is schedule for April 26, 2018 in council Chambers @ 3:30pm.
Why hire another police officer? The ones we have don’t even show up when called. Waste of taxpayers money if you ask me.
